眉州东坡餐饮集团
眉山,古称眉州,位于四川盆地西南边缘,已有一千四百多年建制历史。眉州物产丰盈、代出才人。被列为“唐宋八大家”的苏洵、苏轼、苏辙父子三人皆出于眉州。其中大文豪苏东坡亦为美食大家,因他而开创的东坡菜和儒雅之食风,是中国饮食文化的宝贵遗产,如同其文学才华一样名扬天下。
眉州东坡酒楼创始人王刚先生,16岁入京学习烹饪技艺,得叶剑英元帅家厨,被誉为“总统厨师”的甘国清大师真传。经多年磨练和潜心钻研,练就了过硬的烹饪技艺,在继承东坡饮食文化方面做了大量的整理、研制和创新工作,形成了一套以东坡文化为底蕴的眉州东坡川菜。
1996年6月6日,由全国人大常委会副委员长王光英先生题匾并经过国家商标局注册的眉州东坡酒楼在京开业。2003年成立北京眉州酒店管理有限公司,企业在创始人王刚董事长的带领下,全体员工致力于弘扬东坡文化,大力塑造企业品牌,坚持品质与创新,坚守严格的质量方针,使企业得到迅速发展,成为国内运行最稳定的大型餐饮企业之一。现已在全国开办了二十多家直营店,员工近3000人,成立了公司总部、物流中心、中央厨房。公司旗下的业态有眉州东坡酒楼、王家渡火锅、眉州小吃、私家厨房、四川王家渡食品有限公司等业态。

Corporate Profile of MeiZhou DongPo Food and Beverage Group
MeiShan, is known as Meizhou in ancient period with over 1400 years history and glorious products,located in the south of Sichuan Basin .Three of the eight famous intellectuals of the Tang and Song dynasties, Su Xun, Su Shi and Su Zhe were Meizhou natives. Amongst them, Su Dongpo was not only known as a great intellectual but also a famous gourmet. SuDongpo developed his unique cuisine culture, which is a valuable legacy, just like his excellent works in literature.
Wang Gang, the founder of Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant, learnt cooking skill when he was young. He was a prentice of GanGuoqing, who was honored as “the President Chef” and the personal chef of the great general YeJianying. After over a decade of devoted learning and practice, Wang Gang has been establishing himself as a highly skilled chef and doing extensive research in Dongpo food culture on which the Meizhou cuisine is based.
On June 6, 1996, the first Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant was established in Beijing with its signboard inscribed by Wang Guangying, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC. In 2003 Beijing Meizhou Restaurant Management Co.,Ltd was set up. Under the leadership of President Wang Gang, the entire employees devote to expanding Dongpo culture and developing brand, insisting on quality and innovation, guarding strict quality policy,make the enterprise get a quick development, become one of the most stable large dining enterprises in domestic movement. The dining enterprise is now having a head quarter, a distribution center, a central authority kitchen, and over 20 chain restaurants and over three thousand employees in China. The company has Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant,Wangjiadu Chaffy Dish,Meizhou Snack, Home-Made Specialty and so on.
In Oct. 2000, the company was awarded" Sichuan Famous Restaurant" by Sichuan provincial government. In Oct. 2002, they participated in the first Sichuan Cuisine Contest in the 12th National Chef Festival and was awarded "Famous Banquet of China" with Team Gold Award. In the same year, the company was recognized as "China Famous Restaurant " by China Cooking Association and President Wang Gang was awarded "China excellent Entrepreneur in Food & Beverage Industry"; In 2003, President Wang Gang was awarded “Standing Committee of the Meishan Committee of the Political Consultative Conference”.In the same year,Meizhou Dongpo was chosen as the first following case of the Chinese Food and Beverage Industry by Tsinghua University, School of Economics and Management; In 2005, President Wang Gang was awarded “The Excellent Carving Out Youth”,in the same year,President Wang Gang was engaged as MBA assistant of Tsinghua University.In 2005,the company cooperated with Hormel which was the top three meat ware manufacturer,and produced “Homel·Meizhou Dongpo Sausage”;In Feb. 2006, President Wang Gang was awarded “The Greatest Power Person Of Beijing”. In April 2006, the company passed the ISO9000 Quality Management System.In Feb. 2007, President Wang Gang was chosen chairman on duty by FOODUN.In Mar. 2007,Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant was awarded “the Greatest Power brands top ten of Beijing ”.In April 2007,the company was awarded advanced unit of Beijing Harmonious labour relation.
